Why Jonathan Lost To Buhari – Emir Of Kano Muhammadu Sanusi Speaks

Emir of Kano and former CBN governor, Muhammadu Sanusi II says President Jonathan lost the Presidential election because many people were not happy with him and his PDP-led government. In an interview with Punch, the Emir said high level of poverty in the nation played a deciding factor in the voting pattern in this year’s election. He said the PDP had in previous elections consistently lost in areas that President Obasanjo had majority of votes when he contested.
“I think in 2011, it was very clear that Jonathan had lost many states in the North that had previously been won by former President Olusegun Obasanjo. And it was clear that there was a general sense by people of the Federal Government not investing in the areas where there is a high level of poverty. I believe more and more of those states began to feel that sense of not feeling the federal presence and not feeling the impact of democracy in their pockets. And I think it is extremely important for people to connect with the government and when you have such conditions after 16 years of democracy, it was natural that people would want to have a change and I think this is basically what has happened. I don’t think it is something about an individual, I think it is something that has been going on for a number of years and you could see the states won by the PDP in 1999 and what they won in 2003, what they won in 2007, 2011 and you would begin to see the changes in the way Nigerians were responding so it was a matter of time.”he said

Drake Lost A $6,000 Bet To The Game Over The NCAA Tournament

Drake had to fork over 6 grand to The Game after Kentucky lost to Wisconsin in the NCAA tournament.

When you have a lot of disposable income, why wouldn't you make bets with your similarly rich friends. Rappers seem to be constantly challenging one another, and depending on the rapper, it can be for some insane sums of money.Drake and The Game, while both very successful artists in their own right, decided to keep things "humble" with their bet on the recent Wisconsin/Kentucky game in the NCAA tournament.

While 6 grand may not exactly be a "humble" bet for you and I, Drake was pretty quick to hand over his due in cash after Kentucky lost the game. Both rappers documented the wager on Instagram, with Game revealing that part of his reasoning for picking Wisconsin was their red jerseys (of course), and Drake decided to take his L with a humble brag, writing, "congrats to @losangelesconfidential for taking some money off my hands. Not many ppl can".

I' Am Not A Gay Because I Have Kids - Rich Homie Quan

Rich Homie Quan has done some pause-worthy things in his short career, leading many people who should probably be minding their own business to speculate about the Atlanta rapper’s sexuality. In response to the people wondering which team the flamboyant ‘Blah Blah Blah’ rapper is playing for, he issued this bizarre statement:
“I could never be gay bro; I got two sons. By how fat these blunts is you know I ain’t gay.”

Well there’s that.

RHQ can do whatever he wants to be perfectly honest, but let’s not even act like the above statement doesn’t warrant an eyebrow raise.

Appointing Fani- Kayode As Campaign Manager Was Our Biggest Mistake - PDP

Ben Onyechere spoke unwell of Mr Femi Fani-Kayode During a live program on Channels TV, after the presenter put Mr Ben Onyechere, a member of PDP on phone in discussing what is next for PDP.

During the interview, the presenter asked Mr Onyechere if PDP would be able to be a strong opposition party against APC government after May 29 as President Jonathan has accepted defeat.

In response to the question, he said it was the party’s mistakes that caused them the loss. He went on to say that someone like Fani-Kayode shouldn’t have been appointed as Chairman of President Jonathan’s Media and Publicity campaign team.

Mr Onyechere condemned Fani-Kayode’s approaches before the election, stressing that he went too far in attacking and abusing General Muhammadu Buhari, and this cost them a lot. Fani-kayode was using the bad experience he had while in APC to campaign and it damaged a lot and you don’t expect to win such election.

The angry Mr. Onyechere further said that even the chairman of the party Adamu Mu’azu should be discharge of his position for losing presidential election in his state.

In all, there are many politicians who failed Jonathan, some by mistake but a lot of them intentionally
