The Game Getting Sued For Giving The Cop He Punched Brain Damage

Last week, we got video of The Game sucker punching another player during a pro-am basketball game. Then we learned the other player was an off duty cop.

Yesterday, the next domino fell; TMZ is reporting Officer Onyebuchi Awaji is suing The Game, saying the rapper’s fist may have caused him brain damage.

Onyebuchi is also claiming Game hit him without provocation, whereas The Documentary star claims the cop had threatened to get his pistol, which made him fear for his life.

You can see video of the punch below. It doesn’t exactly seem like the brain damaging type, but maybe the Mike Tyson tattoo on Game’s fist really does increase punching power.

Lil Wayne Just Dropped His $51 Million Lawsuit Against Cash Money

Just last week, Lil Wayne was telling the world what he thought about Cash Money with a F-bomb.

But it looks like things have changed. Yesterday, Wayne’s lawyers dropped his lawsuit against Birdman and company.

Weezy was suing for $51 million, but it was understood that if Baby paid him the $10 million he was owed for Tha Carter V ($8 million advance, $2 million for completion) he would drop the lawsuit.

So did Birdman just pay?

The Cash Money boss has a long history of not bucking up until lawyers are about to drag him into court, and maybe this is what just happened.

And maybe this means we’ll be getting Tha Carter V sooner rather than later.

Drake Lost A $6,000 Bet To The Game Over The NCAA Tournament

Drake had to fork over 6 grand to The Game after Kentucky lost to Wisconsin in the NCAA tournament.

When you have a lot of disposable income, why wouldn't you make bets with your similarly rich friends. Rappers seem to be constantly challenging one another, and depending on the rapper, it can be for some insane sums of money.Drake and The Game, while both very successful artists in their own right, decided to keep things "humble" with their bet on the recent Wisconsin/Kentucky game in the NCAA tournament.

While 6 grand may not exactly be a "humble" bet for you and I, Drake was pretty quick to hand over his due in cash after Kentucky lost the game. Both rappers documented the wager on Instagram, with Game revealing that part of his reasoning for picking Wisconsin was their red jerseys (of course), and Drake decided to take his L with a humble brag, writing, "congrats to @losangelesconfidential for taking some money off my hands. Not many ppl can".

I' Am Not A Gay Because I Have Kids - Rich Homie Quan

Rich Homie Quan has done some pause-worthy things in his short career, leading many people who should probably be minding their own business to speculate about the Atlanta rapper’s sexuality. In response to the people wondering which team the flamboyant ‘Blah Blah Blah’ rapper is playing for, he issued this bizarre statement:
“I could never be gay bro; I got two sons. By how fat these blunts is you know I ain’t gay.”

Well there’s that.

RHQ can do whatever he wants to be perfectly honest, but let’s not even act like the above statement doesn’t warrant an eyebrow raise.

Lil Wayne Bluntly Explains How His Feelings About Cash Money

We aren’t privy to what’s going on behind the scenes between Lil Wayne’s lawyers and Birdman’s lawyers.

But judging from what Weezy said last night in Jacksonville, Florida during one of his Sorry 4 The Wait 2 release parties there is still a whole lot of animosity.
“I’m about to turn you’ll up for a second,” Wayne told the crowd. “You have a note of this. Free Weezy album coming soon. Tha Carter V coming soon. Fuck Cash Money!”

The crowd was delighted by Wayne’s blunt words, with some repeating them back. Check out Weezy’s defiant declaration:

M.I Abaga Defend Entertainers Who Didn’t Contribute During OJB’s Kidney Ailment

M.I Abaga Defend Entertainers Who Didn’t Contribute During OJB’s Kidney Ailment

In a chat with My Africa Podcast, M.I Abaga opened up on why artistes didn’t donate Money for OJB’s kidney complications.

MI said the fear of being ridiculed made many artistes not to give cash to the producer.

In his words;

“First of all, I have the utmost respect for Nomoreloss as a human being. He was definitely one of the people that had a platform that put us on. He is always showing me love, always giving me good advice.

“I haven’t seen him since, and I dread seeing him because, I can imagine that for that one comment, he’ll be disappointed. ‘Yo M.I, why didn’t you reach out to me.

“But this what happened; OJB was sick and people were trying to raise money. I all of a sudden went 0-100 broke, like instantly. All of a sudden there was letters going out, ‘like this person didn’t contribute, why would you ask a publicist (to write a letter), and it became a big thing. What caught me was the fact that Nomoreloss who was a fellow artiste, and he’s writing letters saying, ‘Why won’t artiste come out, why won’t D’banj speak out and say he didn’t donate this money?”

“Everybody was confused, every artiste was confused, so one or two things started happening. A certain artiste told me that he went and contributed the little money that he had, and by the time he got home, it was put in the broadcast, ‘this is how much you gave’.” And it was embarrassing because somebody else is giving N5 million, and you have your little N100,000.

“Already, everybody was in that N100,000 category, of which there was maybe 20, 30 people. Automatically it’s like ‘Yo, I’m gonna keep my N100,000, I’m not trying to be embarrassed. On the second hand, you have artistes, like myself, who were just confused, if we were to go, what would have happened, what would we see, because it had become a media thing.

OJB later got the help he needed when the Governor of Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi, funded the surgery. M.I Abaga recognizes that, but believes that more discretion and understanding should have been applied by Nomoreloss.

“At the end of the day, Nomoreloss can hold his head high because OJB did get help. But the comment in the song came from the fact that I remember reading back to back articles and people were just insulting 2face (Idibia); this guy gave you all the music and you couldn’t even even help him. People didn’t know at the time, 2face’s Dad who had later gone on to pass away from kidney complications was in India undergoing the same thing.

“I was privy to one moment when they needed money right there and then, and 2face was caught between Lagos and Abuja, he was trying to get money for people to send. It was rough for some people. People had issues every day, you know Iyanya lost most of his family in one year, but we never see that side. What we see is what you should be able to do based on our perception of who you are.

“At least not from a fellow artiste. A fellow artiste should understand, and thankfully it didn’t become controversial. That’s the truth of what I wanted to say in the moment.”

Lil Wayne Says “The Free Weezy Album” Is Coming Soon

What is Lil Wayne planning?

There haven’t been any developments concerning the legal battle between Lil Wayne and Birdman since the full 21-page lawsuit surfaced at the end of January. Neither Wayne nor Birdman have spoken directly to what’s happening, but we do know that Wayne is seeking $51 million from his label in addition to his freedom.

The other day DJ Drama hinted that he’s working on Dedication 6 with Wayne, to follow Tha Carter V. Now Wayne’s hopped on social media as well, in the early hours of the morning, to send a few convoluted tweets himself.

It appears as though he’s hinting at a new album/a different album than Tha Carter V/a free album, along with a movement “Free Weezy Season.”

In two separate tweets, Tunechi said, “The Free Weezy Album…komin soon#FWA,” and, “Free album. Free Weezy season. The Free Weezy Album. #FWA.”

What do you think he has planned? Let us know your hypothesis below. Check the tweets as well.
